i have little to say about the path of exile series not because it is lacking, but because of the genre
    action rpg
        i know what i want to do in this game
        i want to turn off my brain
            make smaller number into bigger number

story
    i think there is one, i don't know it though

gameplay
    season leagues are great
        a new feature that brings you back to the game
            if that feature doesn't sound interesting just wait for the next league
                or just don't interact with that mechanic
    past seasonal mechanics
        if you like one specific mechanic you can literally just do that, and still progress
    ggg lets you play the game how you want to play it

builds
    you can pretty much play anything you want
    you can play the meta, or you can play whatever shitty theory crafted thing you came up with

the gem system is nice, and they pretty much went the way of path-of-exile-2 so you can slot the gems anywhere now

i think path of exile hits because ggg respects their players more than other companies
it also helps that it is free
    though the stash tabs aren't
        so buy a seasonal package, and wait for the stash tab sale and use your points there

it is one of the best action rpgs ever made
